Sherwood, Clarence Leroy   	

Memorial services for Clarence Leroy Sherwood, 83, of Longview, will be 
at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2007, at Welch Funeral Home Chapel, 4619 
Judson Road, with the Rev. Jeff Karlson officiating.

Mr. Sherwood passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at a local hospital.

Leroy was born June 9, 1923, in Mangum, Oklahoma, to Norman and Mary Ann 
Sherwood. He had four brothers and four sisters.

Leroy was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Mae Sherwood; his parents; 
his brothers; and three sisters.

He is survived by his children, James Sherwood and wife, Lois of Mineral 
Springs, Arkansas, Linda Dooley and husband, Lonnie of Hawkins, Texas, and 
Michael Sherwood and wife, Lanette of Diana, Texas; sister, Amereana 
Sherwood of Texarkana, Arkansas; four grandchildren; and seven great-
grandchildren.

Mr. Sherwood will be greatly missed by all of his family, friends and 
extended family.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the 
funeral home.
