Seilhant, Lawrence "Poddy"

Funeral Services for Lawrence "Poddy" Seilhant, 59, of 
Longview, will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2007, at 
the chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Road, with 
the Rev. Earl W. "Buddy" Duggins officiating. Burial 
will follow in Kilgore City Cemetery under the direction 
of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Seilhant passed 
away Thursday, January 18, 2007, in Dallas. He was born 
December 23, 1947, in Lumberton, Mississippi, to Willard 
and Bobbie Kennedy Seilhant. He served in the U. S. Navy, 
worked for the Food Fast Corporation and attended The 
University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. He is 
survived by his wife, Gwen, of Longview; sons, Cory Turman 
and wife, Amy, of Diana, Texas; Trey Burk and wife, Melissa, 
of Hallsville, Texas; grandchildren, Seth Burke and his 
mother, Chandra Ponder, Hunter Burk, Kaydee Burk, Amber 
Turman and Haley Turman; sister, Cheryl Bowen and husband, 
Travis, of Kilgore, Texas; brothers, Bud Seilhant and wife, 
Armida, of McCamey, Texas, and Jerry Seilhant and wife, 
Diane, of Chalk Hill, Texas; and several nieces, nephews 
and cousins. The family will receive friends at the funeral 
home today, January 21, 2007, from 2-4 p.m. A memorial
