Shipp, Ginger Lane   
	
Funeral services for Ginger Lane Shipp, 47, of Longview, will be held 
2 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2006, at the New Beginnings Baptist 
Church, with the Reverend Dick Stagner officiating. Burial will follow 
in the White Cemetery, under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of 
Longview. Mrs. Shipp passed away Monday, September 25, 2006, in 
Longview. She was born September 13, 1959, in Longview. She had 
resided in Longview all of her life and was a lab technician at 
Primary Care Associates. She is survived by her husband, Doug 
Peterson of Longview; children, Joseph Hewitt and wife, Ivy of 
Whitehouse, Matthew Shipp of White Oak, and Amanda Beeman and husband, 
Russell of White Oak; grandchildren, Corgan Hewitt, Dax Beeman, and 
Karice Beeman; father, Dewey Townsend of Longview; mother, Rosalie 
Fisher of Longview; four sisters, Vickie Townsend, Carol Dusey, Jeanie 
Barnett, and Lisa Desautels; and five brothers, Glenn Townsend, Tim 
Irby, William Irby, Billy Gates, and Malcolm Fisher. Memorial 
contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the 
American Diabetes Foundation. The family will receive friends from 
6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening, September 26, 2006, at the funeral home.
