Reese, Pearl 

Services for Pearl Reese, 87, of Longview, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at 
the chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Randy Pitts officiating. Ms. Reese passed away 
Thursday evening in a local nursing home. Services are under the direction of Rader 
Funeral Home of Longview. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. today at the funeral home. 
Pearl was born on July 6, 1918, in Corley, Texas, to Warren and Alba Merrill. She 
was a loving wife and mother and was a member of the Greggton United Methodist Church. 
Preceding her in death are her husband of more than 50 years, Leonard Reese; son, 
Gerald Reese; and one grandson, Darren Reese. She is survived by her daughter and 
son-in-law, Marilyn and Robert Berry; sister and brother-in-law Rita and Leonard 
Rakowicz; grandchildren and their spouses Denise Ahlstedt and husband Ed, James 
Robert Reese and wife Robin, William Ryan Reese and wife Erin, Gerald Bruce Reese 
Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Kristal Newport, Brandon Finley, Garrett Reese, Bryan
