Peterson, Batte D.

Funeral services for Batte D. Peterson, 77, of Longview, will be at noon 
Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 
with Dr. David Perkins officiating. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. in 
Purley Cemetery of Mount Vernon.

Mr. Peterson died Sunday afternoon, June 24, 2007, at a local hospital.

He was born January 1, 1930, in Mount Vernon, to B.D. and Alice Peterson, 
who preceded him in death. Mr. Peterson was a sales person for the Sunshine 
Biscuit Co. and was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Peterson of Longview; sons, Michael B. 
Peterson and wife, Vicky of Longview, and Jim Clark and wife, Shonna of 
Burleson; daughter, Melissa McRae and husband, Doug of Colleyville; 
grandchildren, Cory and Caden Clark, Amanda Peterson, Avalon, Pierce, 
Austin and Barrett McRae; special friend, Terry Shields of Longview; and 
his loving dog, Dottie.

The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening, June 26, 2007, 
at the funeral home.
