Piner, Lillian 
  	
A memorial service for Lillian Piner, 83, of Longview, will be 1 p.m., Monday, 
October 9, 2006, at Welch Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Brittain 
officiating. Mrs. Piner died Friday, October 6, 2006, at a local nursing home 
with all of her family at her bedside. Mrs. Piner was born May 20, 1923, to 
Roy and Arce Sherrill in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was a resident of Longview 
and a lifetime member of VFW 4002 Ladies Auxiliary . Mrs. Piner loved her 
family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 
father, mother and brother. Mrs. Piner is survived by her daughters and 
sons-in-law, Vicky and Bob Nono and Rebecca and Tommy Zimicki, all of Longview; 
son, Tim Payte and Hilda McClendon of Lake O' The Pines; seven grandchildren; 
12 great-grandchildren and several brothers and sisters. A special thanks to 
Greater Hospice of Texas and Pine Tree Lodge. Services are under the direction
