Pennington, Jimmie Rae 

Funeral services for Jimmie Rae Pennington, 70, of Longview, will be 10 a.m. 
Tuesday, April 25, 2006, in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview, with 
the Rev. Dick Stagner officiating. Burial will be 4 p.m. in Justin Cemetery in 
Justin, Texas. He passed away Thursday, April 20, at the VA hospital in 
Shreveport, La. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 24, at the 
funeral home. Mr. Pennington was born December 5, 1935, in Justin, to John Henry 
and Gladys Francis Pennington. He was a retired maintenance worker for McDonald's 
Restaurants in Longview. He was an avid coon hunter and a lover of animals, and a 
veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Those left to cherish his memory are his former 
wife and companion, Ruby Wilson of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, James and 
Bobbie Pennington of Longview; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Charles 
Lidster of Denton, Rebecca and Rob Dent of Longview, and Mandy and Chad Wright of 
Longview; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Virgil Pennington, 
Jackie Pennington and Gerald Pennington; sisters, Alma Driver and Ann Hall; and
