No services will be held for A.B. Norman, 90, of Longview. Cremation arrangements are 
by Welch Funeral Home. Mr. A.B. Norman died August 21, 2007, at his residence.

Born in Hickory, Okla., he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II, 
retired teacher and member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, 
Mary Jane Norman; daughter, Janie Duncan; and son, Terry Norman.

A B Norman, 90, of Longview, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2007, at his residence. No 
memorial services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the 
direction of Welch Funeral Home, 4619 Judson Road.

Mr. Norman was born in Hickory, Oklahoma, to Benjamin Franklin and Darrell Fay Campbell 
Norman. He retired from Lawton, Oklahoma public schools after 31 years of teaching. Mr. 
Norman had been a resident of Longview since 1991, and he was a member of the Woodland 
Hills Baptist Church. He was married to Mary Jane Hicks on August 29, 1946, in Shawnee, 
Oklahoma. Mr. Norman was a United States Army veteran of World War II.

Mr. Norman is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Norman; a daughter, Janie Duncan; and a son, 
Terry Norman.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Texas Home Health 
Hospice, 3220 N. Fourth St., Ste. 101, Longview, TX 75605.
