Morris, Linda Sue

KILGORE - Services for Linda Sue Morris, 55, of Kilgore, will be at 2 
p.m. Friday, May 18, 2007, at Grace Baptist Church, with the Reverend 
Don Beebe officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Morris passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2007, in Dallas, after a 
courageous battle with cancer.

Linda was born December 5, 1951, in Overton, to Harvey and Ina Putman, 
who preceded her in death. She worked for 24 years for Allied Waste as 
the accounts payable supervisor. Mrs. Morris was a member of Grace 
Baptist Church. She was a faithful and loving wife to her husband of 
39 years, Sammy. Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother who 
cherished every moment with her children and grandchildren. She loved 
NASCAR and watching her grandchildren play ball. Mrs. Morris never met 
a stranger and always found the good in everyone she met. Linda will be 
remembered as always being a lady and nothing less.

Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Terry 
Putman.

She is survived by her husband, Sammy Morris of Kilgore; daughter and 
son-in-law, Melanie and Cody Ferguson of Longview; son, Michael Wayne 
Morris of Kilgore; three grandchildren, Melaina Danielle Morris of 
Kilgore, Brennan Wayne Ferguson of Longview and Addison Lynn Ferguson of 
Longview; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family 
and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening, May 17, 2007, 
at Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 
Foundation.
