McLain, Mary Jo "Jody"

KILGORE - Memorial services for Mary Jo "Jody" McLain, 69, of Kilgore, will be 1 p.m. 
Monday, August 27, 2007, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Mrs. McLain 
died Friday in Longview.

Jody was born on May 22, 1938, in Denver, Colo., to the Albert and Helen Wynne, 
deceased. She attended Greeley, Colo. schools and moved to Kilgore in 1978. For the 
last 20 years, she managed Sun Acres. Jody was a homemaker. She was a devoted wife, 
mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In her spare time, she loved boating and 
fishing and traveling.

Survivors include her husband, Gean McLain; two sons, Rodney James Moser of Smithland 
and Jimmy Keith McLain of Fort Worth; one daughter and son-in-law, Sam and Johnny 
Evans of Kilgore; and one sister, Beth Hartz of Cheyenne, Wyo. Other survivors include 
eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greater Hospice of Texas, 1905 W. Loop 
281, Longview, TX 75603.
