McBride, Charles Curtis

Services for Charles Curtis McBride, 70, of Kilgore, will be 2 p.m. 
Monday, April 16, 2007, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 
Judson Road, with Dale Hendrix officiating. A private family 
entombment will follow in Lakeview Mausoleum. Mr. McBride went to 
be with his Lord on Friday, April 13, 2007.

He was born July 12, 1936, in Liberty City. He was a longtime and 
faithful member of Post Oak Church of Christ. He was very devoted 
to his family and church.

Mr. McBride held a successful career in real estate for 22 years 
and was currently employed by Longview Carpets, where he worked in 
sales assisting his brother, Lonnie, (owner).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Eddice; and 
sisters, Mary Lee Addie and Ruth Hill.

He is survived by his sister, June Clark; and two brothers, Ed 
and Lonnie McBride. Mr. McBride is also survived by his wife of 
51 years, Iris McBride; three children, Andy McBride, Debbie 
Blalack and Charise Mims; daughter-in-law, Brenda McBride; son-
in-law, Roy McBride; and "Paw Paw" to nine grandchildren and nine 
great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Longview 
on from 2-4 p.m. today, April 15, 2007.
