Miller, Barbara Jo

KILGORE -- Services for Barbara Jo Miller, 69, of Kilgore, will be 
2 p.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2006, at St. Luke's United Methodist 
Church, with the Reverend Ernie Turney and the Reverend Ralph Rudy 
officiating. Mrs. Miller died Monday, November 6, 2006, in Longview, 
Texas. She was born July 8, 1937, in Jennings, Oklahoma, and attended 
public schools in Hominy, Oklahoma. She married Ray Miller in 1953. 
They moved their family to Kilgore in 1967. Mrs. Miller was a longtime 
member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. She was a member and had 
held many offices in the Evergreen Garden Club. Mrs. Miller was a member 
of Kilgore Womens Club and several bridge clubs. Barbara retired as 
president of R.A. Miller Energy, Inc. Mrs. Miller is survived by her 
husband, Ray Miller of Kilgore; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert 
and Tess Miller of Bossier City, Louisiana, and Russell and Holly Miller 
of Kilgore; three grandchildren, Cameron Ray Miller of Bossier City, 
Louisiana, Joseph Normand of Bossier City, Louisiana, and Chris Dunn of 
Shreveport, Louisiana; a brother-in-law and his wife, Dick and Merrita 
Miller of Rolla, Missouri; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces 
and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer 
Society, P.O. Box 2167, Kilgore, TX 75663-2167. The family will receive 
friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening, November 7, 2006, at Rader
