Services for Larry Jack Martin, 75, of Longview, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, 
October 25, 2006, at Lakeview Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jimmy Cantey 
officiating. Mr. Martin passed away on October 22, 2006, at his home. Mr. 
Martin was born October 5, 1931, in Whitney. He was employed 35 years with 
Texas Eastman, and he was a well-known wood carver. Survivors include his 
wife of 53 years, Patsy Martin; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Mike 
Herzog of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Lynne Martin of 
Longview; brother, Don Shaw of Newport, Washington; grandchildren, Stuart 
Allan, Brooke Allan, Aaron Martin, and wife, Hyun Ji, Taylor Pechacek, and 
Leslie Nichols, and great-grandson, Garrett Martin. Visitation will be from 
6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening, October 24, 2006, at Lakeview Funeral Home. For
