Murray, Lois Jo 

Funeral services for Lois Jo Murray, 85, of Longview, will be noon Monday, January 
30, 2006, in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Revs. Joe Parnell 
and Bobby Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. The family will 
receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today, January 29, 2006, at the funeral home,1617 J
udson Road. Mrs. Murray was born on February 14, 1920, in Grand Saline, to Bunyan 
Cleveland and Vashti Melinda Hudgins. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on 
Saturday evening, January 27, 2006, at a Longview nursing facility. Before her 
retirement, Mrs. Murray spent more than 20 years in sales with McCarley's Jewelers 
and was an active member of Mobberly Baptist Church. A loving mother, grandmother, 
and great-grandmother, Mrs. Murray was preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. 
"Pat" Murray; sisters, Lottie Marie Freeman, Ruby Whitlock, Jean Fisher and Ruth 
Alexander; and brothers, Sam Hudgins and B.C. Hudgins. She is survived by her son and 
daughter-in-law, Fred Lyle Murray Jr. and Valeta of Carroll; daughter and son-in-law, 
Lynda Murray Clement and Kerry of Hallsville; grandchildren, Heath Clement and Jana, 
Keely Holter and Scott, Joe Murray and Meredith, and Melinda Ingle and Bill; 
great-grandchildren, Hannah Clement, Lainee Clement, Blake and Braden Holter, Sydney 
Holter, Meagan Shelton, Bailey Ingle, Robert Ingle and Danielle Murray. The family 
requests memorials be made in honor of Mrs. Murray to Mobberly Baptist Church, 
"Growing for Tomorrow" Building Fund, 625 East Loop 281, Longview, TX 75601. A
