Miles, Elma Dean 
 

Elma Dean Miles, 77, of White Oak, passed away January 24, 2006, at a Gladewater 
nursing home. Elma was born December 24, 1928, in Rhonesboro, Texas, to H.A. and 
Elva Irene Mason Finney. She was a beautician and a member of the Baptist faith. 
She is survived by her son, Mike Miles of Brookshire, Tx.; one daughter, Sharon 
Stevens and her husband, Doyle, of Pritchett; one sister, Charlene Stevens of 
White Oak; grandchildren, Ashley Miles of Longview, Monica Luscomb of Gladewater, 
Ty Orms and his wife, Ilene, Shane Orms and his wife, Deidre, and Cody Orms and 
his wife, Tujuana, all of White Oak; eight great-grandchildren; one nephew, 
Jeffery Burrow; one niece Lavenda McCommon and her husband, Bob; and special 
friends, Lonnie and Dixie Posey of Brookshire, Texas. Services will be held 1 p.m. 
Saturday, January 28, 2006, in the chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home, with Richard 
and Lana Fesler officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The 
family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2006, at
