Maberry, Michael Ray 

Graveside services for Mike Maberry, 57, of Longview, will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, 
March 22, 2006, at Memory Park Cemetery, with the Reverend Dewayne Beaty and the 
Reverend Wes Hill officiating, under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. 
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening, March 21, 2006, at the 
funeral home. Mr. Maberry passed away Monday, March 20, 2006, at a local nursing home. 
He was born May 4, 1948, in Dallas. He graduated from the University of Texas in 1970, 
and was president of several convenience stores for many years. He was preceded in death 
by Paula Phifer Maberry; and his father, Ray Wilson Maberry. He is survived by his mother, 
Audrey Maberry Hill, and his step-father, Forest Hill, of Longview; son, James Maberry 
and his wife, Laura, and their children, Kamryn, Ryan, and Jake, all of Kerrville; his 
sister, Anne Poteet and husband, Doug, and their daughter and son-in-law, Cassie and 
Jeremy Bowers, all of Marshall; his step-son, Matt Kirby of Dallas; uncle, Sexton Adams 
and wife, Sandy, of Dallas; and wife, Marilyn Freeman Maberry of California. A memorial
