Lucas, Helen 

Funeral services for Helen Lucas, 99, of Longview, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, 
2006, at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Pat Sparks officiating 
under direction of Rader Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memory Park Cemetery. 
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. today, June 5, 
2006. She was born December 26, 1906 in Hubbard, Texas, and died Sunday, June 4, 
2006, at her home in Longview. She was a homemaker and had lived in Longview since 
1942. Mrs. Lucas had been a member of the First United Methodist Church for 64 years, 
where she was active the in the Turner and Thelma Morgan Sunday School classes and 
other church activities. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Henderson of Dallas; 
son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Sara Lucas of Longview; grandchildren, Lisa Kramer, 
Linda Kramer, Tosch Lucas, Todd Lucas and Susan Stroud; and six great-grandchildren. She 
was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Lucas, in 1982. Pallbearers will be her 
grandsons. Memorial contributions may be made to the first United Methodist Church or
