Liles, Lois 

KILGORE -- Funeral services for Lois Liles, 87, of Kilgore, will be held at Rader 
Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2006, with the Rev. Buddy Duggins 
officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Liles died 
April 13, 2006, in a local nursing center. Lois was born in Plain Dealing, 
Louisiana, on July 23, 1918, to Scott and Maude Lovelady, deceased. She grew up 
working hard on the family farm. As an adult, she worked as a beautician for many 
years and was a member of the Forrest Home Baptist Church. Mrs. Liles remained 
active, participating in the Joy Makers, Miriam Sunday school class, and other 
community activities. Survivors include her son, Don and Jimmie Kay Liles of Holly 
Lake Ranch; granddaughter, Melhaine and Barry Gresham of Spring; two 
great-grandchildren, Marissa and Jonathan Gresham of Spring; and one niece and 
numerous nephews. Her husband of 60 years, Comer Edward Liles; grandson, Brian 
Edward Liles; and daughter-in-law, Sue Liles, all precede her in death. Visitation 
will be 3-5 p.m. today, April 16, 2006, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made 
to Greater of Hospice of Texas, 1905 W Loop 281, Space 81, Longview, Texas 75604.
