Landes, Ruth Dickerson

KILGORE - Graveside services for Ruth Landes, 90, of Kilgore, will be 
at 4 p.m. today, April 28, 2007, at Kilgore City Cemetery, with the 
Rev. Ralph Rudy officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of 
Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore. Mrs. Landes died Friday, April 27, 2007, 
at a local nursing facility.

Ruth was born February 22, 1917, in Kilgore, to Oscar and Lottie 
Dickerson, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the St. 
Lukes Methodist Church, and worked as a beautician.

Her husband of more than 50 years, Paul William Landes; one sister; 
three brothers; and one nephew preceded her in death.

Survivors include her two sisters, Marian Dickerson and Nina Nichols, 
both of Kilgore; one niece, Laura McKethan of Kilgore; and one nephew, 
Kenneth Dickerson of Plano; four great-nephews; and dear friend, Nancy 
Cato Bullock of Kilgore.
