Graveside services for Helen Elizabeth Lafitte, 76, formerly of 
Longview, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2006, at Grace 
Hill Cemetery with the Rev. James Russell Lampin officiating. 
Arrangements are by Welch Funeral Home. Mrs. Lafitte passed away 
Saturday, September 2, 2006, in Tyler, Texas. Mrs. Lafitte was a 
lifetime resident of Longview and a member of First Assembly 
Church of God. She had worked for the North East Texas Credit 
Bureau. Left to cherish her memory are her son and 
daughter-in-law, Russell Nathan and Cathi Lafitte of Bullard, 
Texas; her daughter and son-in-law, Marche and Dale Reeves of 
Fort Smith, Arkansas; brother and sister-in-law, the Rev. James 
Russell and Alma Lampin of Fort Worth; five grandchildren; and
