Jones, Ruben S.

CARTHAGE - Graveside services for Ruben S. Jones, 83, of Kilgore, 
formerly of Panola County, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at 
Harmony Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Harris officiating. 
Arrangements are by Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Mr. Jones died 
May 5, 2007, in Kilgore.

Born August 1, 1923, in Brownwood, he had lived in Carthage, 
Beckville, Tatum and Marshall before moving to Kilgore two years 
ago and was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include his sons, 
Ruben Jr., Larry, William and Ricky Jones; daughters, Lilly Knox 
and Margie Fay Kellogg; brother, Joe Mac Jones; and sisters, Melbie 
Jones and Edna B. Beam. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 7, 
2007, at the funeral home.
