Jones, Christine Yvonne Pitner 

Funeral services for Christine Yvonne Pitner Jones, 68, of Longview, will be held 
4 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2006, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home, with the 
Reverend Jerry Turner officiating. Interment will be in Rosewood Park. She passed 
away Monday, April 17, 2006, at a Longview hospital. Visitation will be from 6-8 
p.m. Friday evening, April 21, 2006, at the funeral home. Mrs. Jones was born 
August 21, 1937, in Rusk County, Texas, to John A. and Christine Pitner. She 
excelled as a housewife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her 
parents; her sister, Peggy Jo Pitner; and brother, Thomas W. Pitner. Those left to 
cherish her memory are her husband of 52 years, James J. Jones of Longview; son, 
James Michael Jones of Longview; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Greg Landis of 
Dusseldorf, Germany; grandchildren, Michael Lee Jones and Alexandra Christine Landis; 
sisters and brother-in-law, Dorothy A. Copper of Tyler, and Johnnie and Ed Spader of 
Longview; sister-in-law, Jean Ann Reedy of Las Vegas; and several nieces. Memorial
