Memorial services for James Jewitt, 48, of Longview, will be 1 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 
2007, at Welch Funeral Home Chapel, 4619, Judson Road, with Chaplain Dick Lindsey 
officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Welch Funeral Home. Mr. 
Jewitt died Saturday, July 21, 2007.

Mr. Jewitt was born November 24, 1958, in Lackawanna, New York, to Albert and May Ducker 
Jewitt. He moved to Longview from Beaumont in 2005. He was a welder and pipefitter for JW 
Operating.

Preceding him in death was his mother.

Survivors include his wife, Sara, and daughter, Precious Jewitt of Longview; father, Albert 
Jewitt of Alabama; and sisters, Sandy Jewitt and Margaret Jewitt Pampel, both of Florida.
