Hudson, Maxine 

Graveside services for Maxine Hudson, 65, of Longview, will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 
31, 2006, at Old Saltillo Cemetery, with the Rev. Jerry Turner officiating. Services 
are under the direction of Welch Funeral Home, 4619 Judson Road. Mrs. Hudson died 
Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at a local hospital. Mrs. Hudson was born June 9, 1940, in 
Saltillo, Texas, to Mack and Mary Stoudt Dillon. She had been a resident of Longview 
since 1967. She was a Methodist and enjoyed gardening, flowers, and pets. She was 
preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Keen; a grandson, Blake; and granddaughter, 
Brandi Berry. Mrs. Hudson is survived by her husband of 39 years, Steve Hudson of 
Longview; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jerry Keen of Ore City; son and 
daughter-in-law, Bobby and Patricia Hudson of Longview; daughter and son-in-law, 
Belinda and Roy Sanford of Paris; 20 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister 
and brother-in-law, Amelia and Harold Martin of Saltillo; and beloved pets, Butch and 
Dolly. Serving as pallbearers will be Bruce Berry, Jerry Don Keen, Taylor Mayfield, 
Dusty Burks, Heath Cariker, and Billy Hudson. Sam Morris will serve as honorary 
pallbearer. The family will receive friends at 6 p.m. Thursday evening, March 30, 2006,
