Cross, Nettie Jane Martin   	

Services for Nettie Jane Martin Cross, 98, will be held at 12:30 p.m. 
Saturday, May 12, 2007, at Lakeview Funeral Home. Burial will follow 
in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Cross lived in her home in White 
Oak until a brief illness, and she passed away May 8, 2007, at a 
Longview hospital.

Born August 1, 1908, Mrs. Cross was married 51 years to Richard "Ben" 
Allie Martin, who died in 1979. They had two children, Richard Henry 
Martin and Donald Eugene Martin, who both preceded her in death. She 
was married to Roy Cross, who died in 1994.

She became a Christian at an early age; she dedicated her life to being 
a wife, mother and grandmother. She was friend to many, including those 
who knew her as a regular at local senior dances, one of her favorite 
activities.

Survivors include her sister, Dora McClellam of Baytown; nephew, Tommy 
Cobb of White Oak; daughter-in-law, Sue Martin; grandchildren, Valerie 
Ann Martin, Janie Martin Schuder and David Martin; and great-grandchildren, 
Adam Schuder, Abby Schuder, John Martin and Anna Harrison, all of Fort 
Worth.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. this evening, May 11, 2007, at Lakeview 
Funeral Home.
