Climer, Donna Sue KILGORE -- Donna Sue Climer, beloved wife and mother, passed away on October 29, 2006, at 4:30 a.m., after a brief but intense battle with cancer, at the age of 67. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jimmie Climer of Kilgore; daughters and sons-in-law, Tami and Steve Burich of Allen, and Robyn and Dwayne Wardlaw of Kilgore; son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Ruth Climer of Kilgore; brother and sister-in-law, Tyrus and Rose Johnson of Kilgore; seven grandchildren, Josh Magill of Allen, Holly Burich of Allen, Jade, Justin and Macy Climer of Kilgore, and Harley and Alexis Wardlaw of Kilgore; mother-in-law, Mary Climer of Kilgore, sister-in-law, Marlene Carpenter of Kilgore; sister-in-law and husband, Susan and Frank Green of Fort Worth; brother-in-law, Doug Carpenter of Kilgore; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, D.L. and Cleo Johnson; brother, Don Lee Johnson; and sisters, Jessie Mae Johnson and Genevieve Warner. Donna grew up and lived in Kilgore most of her life. She retired from Eastman Chemical after 31 years of service in administration. She was a member of First Christian Church of Kilgore. Donna's legacy of dignity and strong devotion to those she loved will long be remembered by her many good friends and family members. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at the sanctuary of First Christian Church on Wednesday, November 1, 2006, at 2 p.m., with Pastor Bill Blanks officiating. Visitation to follow in the church family center. Arrangements are by Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore. A special thanks to Dr. Atul Patel and his office staff, doctors and staff at the Longview Cancer Center and the nurses of Heart'sWay Hospice for the exceptional care and attention given to Donna.
