Barrett, Reba Lynn Barton 
  	
Garden court services for Reba Lynn Barton Barrett, 77, 
of Longview, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 7, 
2007, at the Welch Funeral Home, with Brother Rick 
Roberts officiating. Interment will be in the Hughes 
Springs City Historical Cemetery. She died Sunday, 
February 4, 2007, in Longview. Mrs. Barrett was born 
August 1, 1929, in Cass County, to Rosco C. and Ila Mae 
Shaddix Barton. She was a Baptist and a member of 
Missionary Baptist Church. She loved fishing, gardening 
and her family. She loved to fish with her grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, 
Charlie and E.T. Barton. She is survived by two children 
and their spouses, Dorothy "Dott" and Ronney Roberts of 
Longview, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Barrett of Diana; 
grandchildren and their spouses, Greg and Julie Lansdale 
of Gladewater, Timmy and Melinda Barrett, and Tommy 
Barrett of Ore City, Michael and Jennifer Roberts of White 
Oak and Matthew Roberts and Kevin Spivey of Dallas; and 
great-grandchildren, Bo, Jaiden and Ryder Lansdale of 
Gladewater, Triston and Trevor Barrett, and Micah Morgan 
of Ore City and Amanda Davis of Longview. Also surviving 
are brothers and their spouses, Vernon and Norma Barton, 
and Dewey and Merlene Barton; sisters and their spouses, 
Velma Smith Kerr, Estelle Owens Day and Peggy and Edward 
Oliver, all of Hughes Springs; several nieces and nephews; 
special family members, Courtney, Linda and Wayne Adcock 
and Bob Barrett and Casey Matthis. Pallbearers will be 
nephews and brother-in-law. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. 
this evening, February 6, 2007, at the funeral home. An
