Britt, Pauline 

KILGORE -- Services for Pauline Britt, 87, of Kilgore, will be 2 p.m. Monday, 
September 11, 2006, at Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Kilgore, with the Rev. 
Byron Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Linden Cemetery in Linden. Mrs. 
Britt passed away Saturday, September 9, 2006, in Kilgore. Mrs. Britt was born 
September 20, 1918, in Linden, Texas, to Cecil and Ollie Carter, deceased. She 
was a loving and devoted mother and homemaker. Mrs. Britt was a member of the 
Laird Hill Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by 
her son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Ginger Britt of Memphis, Tenn.; three 
grandchildren, Katherine Hope Marciano and husband, Manuel, of Paris, France, 
Jennifer Robyn Dowell and husband, Adam, of Kilgore, and Charles Andrew Britt 
of Memphis, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Margie Frey of Kilgore; as well as many other 
loving family and friends. Her husband, Clifford Andrew Britt; daughter, Sharon 
Barr; grandson, Justin Roy Barr; son-in-law, Harold Barr; sister, Ollie Mae 
Carter; and three brothers, Foster Carter, Harvey Carter and Cecil Carter Jr. 
preceded Mrs. Britt in death. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer 
Society or Heart'sWay Hospice of Longview, Kilgore, Texas 75662. The family 
will receive friends today from 4-6 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Please
