Boswell, Rita

Funeral services for Rita Boswell, 87, of Longview, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, 
October 5, 2006, at Trinity United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Ed 
Blackstone officiating. Interment will follow in White Cemetery, under the 
direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Boswell died Sunday, 
October 1, 2006, at her residence. She was born September 1, 1919, in 
Quitman, Texas, to James Virgil and Jewell Marie Puckett. Mrs. Boswell was 
an LVN, a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, and was an active 
volunteer at the Green Street Senior Citizens Center. Rita was preceded in 
death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Eldon W. Boswell of 
Longview; daughter, Pat Boswell of Longview; granddaughter, Susan Vandermeer 
of the Dallas-Fort Worth area; sister, Mary Nell Dykes of Chandler; 
brother-in-law and wife, Jerry and Velma Boswell of New Bern, N.C.; aunt, 
Lucille Jenkins of Tyler; and a number of nieces and nephews. The family 
asks that memorial donations be made to Trinity United Methodist Church,
