Bailey, Lena F. 


Lena F. Bailey, 79, of Longview, passed away Friday, August 11, 2006, at her 
residence surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Bailey was born March 8, 1927, 
in Evangeline, Louisiana, to Eugene and Eva Fontenot. She was a homemaker and 
a member of Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by 
her parents and a brother, J.A. Fuselier. She is survived by her loving husband, 
Odria Bailey of Longview; three daughters, Carolyn Childs of Longview, Ethel 
Parsley and Fred Parsley of Longview, and Linda and Douglas Smith of Texas City; 
three grandchildren and their spouses, Mechelle and Gilbert Martinez, Dena and 
Darrell Edwards, and Brock and Brandy Parsley; eight great-grandchildren; one 
brother, Gardful and Sally Fuselier; a sister, Lois and A.J. Miller; and one 
sister-in-law, Dorothy Fuselier. Services will be held 2:30 p.m. today, August 
13, 2006, in the chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jimmy Stripland 
officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be 
made to Heart'sWay Hospice, 1306 Pine Tree Rd., Longview, TX 75604. The family 
received friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday evening, August 12, 2006, at the funeral
