KILGORE - Graveside services for Connie Appling, 86, of Kilgore will 10 
a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at Kilgore Cemetery with the Rev. Mark 
Hendrick officiating, under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore. 
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-7:30 p.m. today.

Connie Cecelia Appling was born March 12, 1921, in Wichita Falls, Texas, 
daughter of Carl and Pearl Hedges, deceased. She was a resident of Kilgore 
since 1934. Mrs. Appling was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

Mrs. Appling is survived by her four daughters and sons-in-law, Shelia and 
Steve Leach, Teresa and Glen Jones, Sandra and Bill Gossage and Judith and 
Johnny Leach; son, Richard Appling; four grandchildren, John H. Leach Jr., 
Steven Leach, Roger W. Maxwell and Kara S. Leach; three great- grandchildren, 
Dylan Leach, Keshaun Garner, Jalen Garner and Taylor Rushing; sister, 
Kathryn Presley; and several stepgrandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces 
and nephews.

Her husband Maurice Appling; brothers, Lester and Carl Hedges; and parents 
preceded her in death.
