Aldridge, William W. "Bill"

Bill went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 26, 2007. He was a 
wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was born December 27, 
1929, to Jesse and Effie Mathney Aldridge and was reared in Pensacola, 
Florida. He proudly served for four years in the U.S. Air Force. He 
retired from Trainmobile and Stemco.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007, at 
Grace Hill Cemetery, with Larry Slaback officiating. Burial will 
follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.

Visitation will be this evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Effie Mathney 
Aldridge; and his brothers, Jesse and Blondel Aldridge.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lois; a daughter and 
son-in-law, Carol and Larry Slaback; three grandchildren, Amy, R
ebecca and Michelle Slaback; special sister-in-law, Lavern Smeltzer; 
a special aunt and uncle, Evelyn and Alan Ellington; special cousin, 
June Spann; and numerous other cousins, nephews and nieces.
