Armstrong, Verlie Martin 
  	
Memorial services for Verlie Armstrong will be 10 a.m. Saturday, 
December 30, 2006, at Lakeview Funeral Home. Mrs. Armstrong died 
Sunday, December 24, following a lengthy illness. Verlie was born 
November 4, 1941, in Van Zandt County and graduated from Hallsville 
High School in 1960. She was married to her husband, Bob, for 40 
years until his death in 2001. She is survived by her three daughters 
and sons-in-law, Teresa and Burr Hall of Waxahachie, Rowena and Keith 
Russell of Diana and Laura and Jason Downing of Flower Mound; son and 
daughter-in-law, Dale and Becky Armstrong of Urbana, Ill.; eight 
granddaughters and two grandsons. She is also survived by her 
mother-in-law, Elizabeth Armstrong; one sister, Joanne Fields of 
Longview; and two brothers, Farley Martin of Southwest City, Mo., and 
Terry Martin of Longview. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Armstrong and her 
family request that memorials be made to Greggton United Methodist 
Church, 1101 Pine Tree Road, Longview, TX 75604. For those unable to
