Alfred, Dorothy Nell 

Funeral services for Dorothy Nell Alfred, 76, of Longview, will be 2 p.m. Monday, 
August 31, 2006, in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, with the Rev. Ray 
Tenpenny officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Park Cemetery. The family will 
greet friends at the funeral home 2-4 p.m. today. Mrs. Alfred died Saturday morning 
in a local nursing home. A native of Longview, she was born August 18, 1929, to 
Connie and Slade Tutt. Mrs. Alfred was a retired salesperson for Sears and a member 
of the Macedonia Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Larry Dan Alfred and 
wife, Sandy, of Keller, Texas, George Randall Alfred and wife, Betty, of Longview, 
and Gary Eugene Alfred of Hallsville; brothers, Richard Falvey Tutt of Silsbee, 
Texas, Leon Tutt of Longview, and Norman Tutt of Sulphur, La; six grandchildren; and 
seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George C. Alfred; 
her parents; a sister, Opal Stokley; and a brother, Bobby Tutt. A memorial guestbook
