Services for Dorothy L. Acree, 86, of Longview, will be 10 
a.m. Monday, December 4, 2006, at New Life Baptist Church, 
with the Rev. James Pierce officiating. Burial will be 2 
p.m. in Red Oak Cemetery of Blossom. Arrangements are by 
Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Acree was born August 
8, 1920, in Blossom, and she died November 30, 2006, in 
Longview. She was a homemaker and member of New Life Baptist 
Church. Survivors include her daughter, Charlotte Acree. 
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2006, at the

Services for Dorothy L. Acree, 86, of Longview, will be 10 
a.m. Monday, December 4, 2006, at New Life Baptist Church. 
Burial will be 2 p.m. in Red Oak Cemetery in Blossom, Texas, 
near Paris. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral 
Home of Longview. Mrs. Acree was born August 8, 1920, in 
Blossom, Texas. She married Floyd E. Acree on March 14, 1946, 
and he preceded her in death March 30, 1989. She was a 
full-time homemaker and mother and had been a faithful member 
of New Life Baptist Church. She went home to be with her Lord 
November 30, 2006, after a brief illness. Immediate survivors 
include her daughter, Charlotte Acree. Other survivors include 
her nieces, Marcella Harkrider, Mary Louise Boren, Lorene Carter, 
Mildred Dewese, Nella Beth Long and Joan Cummins; nephews, Albert 
Boren, Larence Hart, Jerry Hart, Buddy Duggins, John Baxley and 
Jim Baxley; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. 
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today, December 3, 2006, at the 
funeral home, 1617 Judson Road. A memorial guestbook may be
