Navy in 1944. Trained at San Diego, Calif. Served in Australia, India,
Egypt, Arabia and Ceylon. Now on duty in San Diego, Calif. |

Mr & Mrs E E Kane and husband of Josephine Hamilton Kane, is a
graduate of Pine Tree HS. Entered Army in 1937. Trained at Ft Francis
Warren, Wyo. Served in German, France, England and Belguim. Now en
route home. |

Mr & Mrs J Kaplan, Gladewater. Entered Army in 1941, trained at
Ft Riley, Kan. Served in Transport Div. in the Pacific Theater of
War. Now on duty in San Francisco. |

Mr & Mrs Ray Karnes, attended Gladewater HS and was an outstanding
player on the football team. Entered Navy in 1945, trained at San
Diego, Cal. Now on duty at Camp Parks, Calif. |

Karnes, Robert R - S/Sgt Robert R Karnes, son of
Mr & Mrs Rya Kearnes, attended Gladewater HS. Entered Air Corps
in 1942, trained at Colorado Springs, Colo. Has served in Australia,
New Guinea, Dutch East Indies, Philippines and China. Holds Air Medal
with three Oak Leaf Clusters and seven Bronze Stars.

in July 1944; trained at Camp Roberts, Cal. Served in Hawaii Islands,

Louise Walton Keenan, attended Kilgore College. Entered Navy in 1943,
trained at San Diego, Calif. and Norfolk, Va. Has served in the South
and Southwest Pacific. Now on duty in Hawaii. |

Keeton, J M - Pfc J M Keeton entered the Inf. in
1944; trained at Camp Wolters, Texas. Has served 14 months overseas
in France, Belgium and Germany. Has Purple Heart, was wounded in Belgium
in Dec. 1944. Now on duty at Marseille, France. |

Mrs J N Keith, husband of Winnie Stilwell Keith. Entered Army Signal
Corps in 1942, trained at Camp Kohler, Calif. and Western Signal Corps

and now has Honorable Discharge. |

in Luxembourg on Dec. 21, 1944. Awarded Bronze Star and Purple Heart. |
