Ennis Postcard

Ennis After 1905

The original postcard is unused, so there is no date. However, the back is divided (one half for the message, the other half for the address). Such divided back postcards were first permitted in the US in 1905. Therefore, the postcard dates from 1905 or later. However, given the visible lack of automobiles, I would guess not much later. The sign on the second building from the left says "F. Freeman Grocer". A caption on the card indicates that this view is looking west.
