Rudolph Jaeger

According to researcher, Roxann Bowen, "Rudolph and Ema Jaeger immigrated to DeWitt County, Texas in 1896 on the ship Allemania. They left Hamburg (coming from Ziesar near Berlin) on 17 Dec 1895. They arrived in Galveston, Texas, on 8 Jan 1896. They traveled with 2 children from Ema's previous marriage, William and Otto. Otto died at 15 years. William took the Jaeger name. Also with them was Rozann's great-grandmother, Annie, and Paul. Annie was born June 1893 and Paul was born 16 Oct 1896. After coming to Texas and settling in Yorktown, they had 5 more children: Herman, Emil, Ida, Rudolph, and Otto."
Rudolph and Ema are buried at Westside Cemetery.
