House 411 is owned by Lawrence A. Smith, valued at $50.  He is a laborer in the Oilfield, but where?
The next six dwellings are singularly occupied, but is it a bunkhouse?

A Gulf employee known to have occupied a Gulf house in what was called the Dunnigan Camp is located in N 75, and another known Gulf employee is located in N 74.  However the latter is not known to have lived in the Dunnigan camp, and the camp had four houses by 1935.   Nevertheless the two residents are listed in case these two houses were the first two houses built on the Upton County border, and later referred to as the Dunnigan camp.  However, the rent is higher than most Gulf Production employees paid.

Clerk, Grocery Store
Note:  Soon after the 1930 census, Cecil Jobe and family operated, and lived in the back of, the grocery store in the McElroy Gulf camp. Since in this census he owned a house valued at $200, which does not appear to be in the camp, he may have owned a store in the town of Crane before making whatever arrangements he later had with Gulf.
