Excluding houses 184-314 south of the East West Road, which were out of the city limits and included part of the McElroy Gulf Camp, there were twenty-seven (27) houses which rented for $25, two (2) houses that rented for $22.50, forty (40) houses that rented for $20, one (1) house that rented for $18, four (4) houses that rented for $17.50, three (3) houses that rented for $16, and thirth-seven (37) houses that rented for $15.  [a total of 45 houses rented between $15 and $18]  One (1) house rented for $14, One (1) house rented for $12, seventy-four (74) houses rented for $10.  [a total of 76 houses rented between $10 and $14]   One (1) house rented for $9.50, nineteen (19) houses rented for $7.50, seven (7) houses rented for $7.00, eight (8) houses rented for $6.00m and seventeen (17) houses rented for $5.00.   [a total of 52 houses or rooms rented below $10].  Some of the lower rent may include company houses, especially oil company houses north of the town of Crane, since this author could not make that distinction.
