In 1923, what would become 305 West Walnut Street was the back yard
of what would become 502 South Pecos Street. It was occupied by an
automobile shed, according to the 1923 map. This address does not
appear to have been occupied by any other dwelling prior to this time.
"In 1929, William O. Sides,
and his wife Ella M., were residing at 305 West Walnut Street. They
were the owners of this dwelling. Also living at this address were
Miss Helen Sides, an operator at Southwest States Telephone Company;
and M. T. White." (Coleman City Directory,
