By 1930, a room had been added to the west side of the dwelling.


"In 1929, James B. Priddy, and his wife Mary, were residing at 201 East Walnut Street.  They owned this dwelling.  He owned a blacksmith shop, which was located behind his home (north), at 407 South Colorado Street.  Miss Lillie Rosneau, a dressmaker, had her business at this address, where she also roomed.  Also rooming at this address was Miss Mabel Campbell, an operator for Southwest States Telephone Company; Miss Lucille Mayo, a student; and Miss Viva Mayo, an operator for Southwest States Telephone Company."  (Coleman City Directory, 1929 - Hudspeth.)

Between 1930 and 1948, the dwelling at 201 East Walnut was torn down and a filling station built at this location.

About February 2003, The Coleman First Baptist Church began clearing the west side of this block (Original Townsite, Block 19, lots 3 and 4) to build what began as a parking lot and expanded into a "Family Center."  This part of the block has included 200 East Elm Street, 405 South Colorado Street, 407 South Colorado Street, and 201 East Walnut Street.  See 200 East Elm Street for information about this structure.
