from Ralph Terry: Somewhere along the way, it appears that the
address of 517 Vale Street (in Block 43 on the Phillips Addition to the
Coleman Townsite) and 520 Vale Street (in Block 44 on the Phillips Addition to the Coleman Townsite)
have become reversed. Accounting to Coleman County Tax Office
records, 517 is located on the east side of Vale Street and 520 is
located on the west side of the street. This is opposite of the
1948 map and contrary to street numbering practises in Coleman.)
On the 1923 map and before, the Joe McCarthy Construction yard was located at what would become 520 Vale Street. The principal address for Joe McCarthy Construction yard was at 505 Vale Street.
