ROOSEVELT STREET Roosevelt Street is the 15th street north of Live Oak Street. It begins at North Neches Street, and extends west to Perry Street. Originally, Roosevelt Street was the road that went to Abilene. Roosevelt Street continued to the west (through what is now a gate into a pasture), making a curve to the north and crossing Hords Creek, then continuing on to Abilene.
