PEACH STREET Peach Street is the 2nd street north of Live Oak Street. On maps of 1923 and before, what is now called Peach Street, was called West First Street (even though there was also a West First Street south of Mesquite Street). On the 1930 map, Peach Street is called Peach Street with an alternate name of West First Street. On the 1948 map, Peach Street is called Peach Street. Peach Street originally began at North Commercial Avenue, but was probably never opened between North Commercial Avenue and North Concho Street, so Peach Street now begins at North Concho Street, and extends west beyond Mountain Street.
