"LOCAL EPISCOPALIANS
TO BUILD A CHAPEL - The Episcopalian congregation of Coleman will erect
a chapel, work on which will begain immediately. The local congregation,
which numbers about twenty-five, have been holding services in an uptown
hall for several years. Before her death, Mrs. E. A. Clow donated
a building site to the church. The lot, a quarter block, is situated
at the corner of Nueces (should read Neches)
and Cedar streets. The building committee, composed of Messrs. J.
E. and R. L. Boog-Scott, J. H. Babington, E. W. Kapper, awarded contract
for the chapel Wednesday evening. W. E. Edgerton will construct the
building, which will cost, complete, in the neighborhood of $1800."
