In 1888 a vacant lot was located at what would become 209 South Neches Street.
In 1893 and 1898, a shed with the south side open was at this location.
In 1904 through 1923, a shed was was located at what would become 209 Sourth Neches Street.
This shed does not appear to be connected to any dwellings around it.

In 1930, a vacant lot was located at what would become 209 Sourth Neches Street.

Sometime between 1930 and 1947, a Four Square Church was built of brick at 209 South Neches Street.

Sometime after 1948, the church closed and a two story structure was added to the north side of this building.  It began to be addressed as 411 West Pecan Street.

This building became Margie's Beauty Salon, owned and operated by Margie and Wyland Duncan.  After Wyland's death, Margie continued to operated it until late 2007 or early 2008.
