702 West Live Oak Street
Coleman, Texas

Legal Description:

"In 1929, Walter A. Gray, and his wife Josephine, were residing at 702 West Live Oak Street.  He was a ranchman.  Also living at this address was Miss Mabel Gray."  (Coleman City Directory, 1929 - Hudspeth.)

"In 1962, Josephine C. Gray, widow of Walter A. Gray, was residing at 702 West Live Oak Street.  Her telephone number was 625-5510.  Also living at this address was Mrs. Mary E. Taylor."   (Polk's Coleman City Directory, 1962.)

Sometime in 1962, after the directory was recorded, the Gray house burned.
Mary E. Taylor gave teas there, and it was sometimes called the Taylor Tea Room.
Below are pictures taken after the fire.
