Taylor Motor Was Established Here 14 Years Ago
Frank W. Taylor, head of Taylor Motor company, came to Coleman in 1905.
This year he celebrates his thirty-first year as a citizen of the town
and his fourteenth year in the automobile business. The Taylor Motor
company is an automobile agency of the highest type. They handle
Dodge and Plymouth cars, and specialize in the mechanical repairing of
these cars. Their mechanics have special training in this particular
kind of work.
When Mr. Taylor first entered this business he bought out the old Coleman
Motor Company which had the Dodge agency at that time, he added the Plymouth
line in 1933. The merchandise line consists of parts, accessories
and Firestone tires.
The Service station operates night and day and handles Sinclair products.
Here you will receive the most courteous service for twenty four hours
per day. The attendants are alert and thoroughly efficient and eager
to give you the best service in town.
Frank Orr is shop foreman and his assistants are: Jack Mills, E. A.
Walker, Geo. Briggs, R. K. Wardlow and Horace Carter, mechanics.
The staff of this garage is one to be proud of as each man is a general
all around mechanic and has specialized in some one phase of the work.
They are equipped to give you the best in repair work and are glad to be
of service to you.
Frank W. Taylor is assisted by his two sons, Ben F. and F. W. Taylor,
Jr. There are also two other brothers employed by the firm, M. D.
and Chas. Taylor. Mr. Taylor has grown and progressed during his
business in Coleman and finds it a pleasant and profitable place to live.
There has been, even as now, a pleasant association with the good people
of this trade territory. Mr. Taylor says that the automobile is as
much a necessity to the farmer and rancher of the present day as their
products are to the city dwellers. If you have car trouble, regardless
of the make of car, or if you are interested in a car that can really “take
it,” let Mr. Taylor fix your old car or show you a Dodge or Plymouth.
