Coleman, Texas Legal Description: |
The building that is now known as 108 - 112 East Live Oak Street, from
the brick designs appears to have been built as one building and 114 -
116 East Live Oak Street was built as another building. I have not
learned which was built first, but both were built in the late 1920's.
In 1923, there was a wagon yard located on this quarter block, with a scales
on the north side. At different times, this building was addressed
as 108 East Live Oak Street, 110 East Live Oak Street, 112 East Live Oak
Street, or any combination of the three addresses. At times, different
businesses occupied each part of the building and at other times one or
two businesses occupied it.
